Hello, I am Lee. I am drawn to the small, real moments that usually happen in between poses: how you laugh, how you look at the people you love, the quiet in a busy day.
My goal is to make photos that feel like you, without a lot of fuss. Sessions are relaxed and straightforward, with simple direction so you are never wondering what to do, but enough space for natural expression.
Whether it is a quick portrait, a family evening in the backyard, or a small event, I am there to pay attention, notice the details, and give you a set of images you will want to come back to.

A 25 percent retainer is required to book. Travel beyond a 10 mile radius of Asheville is billed at $0.50 per mile.

What should I expect during a session?
We start with a quick check in about what you are hoping for, then ease into a few simple prompts and poses to get you comfortable. I give gentle direction so you are never wondering what to do, and I watch for the in between moments: laughs, glances, and small details that feel real. The goal is for it to feel like time well spent, not a performance.
What is your editing style?
I keep things clean and consistent. Colors are natural, skin tones are true, and contrast is adjusted so your images have depth without looking over edited. I want your photos to look good now and years from now, so I avoid heavy filters or effects that feel trendy.
Can I extend my session?
Often you can. If we are in a good rhythm and my schedule allows, we can extend your session on the day of. Additional time is billed at my standard rate, and I always confirm the cost with you before we keep going so there are no surprises.
How many photos will I get?
Each package includes a minimum number of edited images: at least 8 from a Short Session, 15 from a Standard Session, and 30 from a Signature Session. Most galleries include more than the minimum, enough to tell the full story of our time together without feeling overwhelming.
How and when will I receive my photos?
You receive a small preview within about 48 hours so you can see a few favorites right away. Your full gallery is delivered online, usually within a week for portrait sessions and within 2 to 4 weeks for events. From your gallery, you can download high resolution files and share them with friends and family.
